Answered: What are the proper settings for a Jooan brand IP camera?

I would have sent you the Operating Instructions ,but there is no selection to send picture,
1. Make sure your smartphone is connected to the WIFI and the camera is turned on;
2. Pls use a network cable to connect IP camera to your router first, you can pull out the cable once the WIFI connection is well done;   
3. Download Yoosee App on your smartphone or tablet, and install and start it.
4. On the Device List: you can see the mark"+" on the top right corner, and then click it and choose Smartlink.
5. On the Smartlink: click Next. FYI, if you do not hear the sound(Di-Di-Di) from camera, pls reset the camera.
6. On the Smartlink: Camera needs WIFI to connect, input your WIFI password, and then click Next. During this step you will hear the sound(Dong) which means you make it.
7. On the Add Device: input the device password(123), waiting for connection in seconds.

Dear User,
If the camera's LED indicator is blinking green, please repeat the process of adding the camera via the mobile app (you don't need to delete the existing one from your account). If that doesn't help, please send us a message at our email support@ivideon.com and attach the link to this thread please.

Please, specify if you are watching the video on your mobile phone using our application.
Also, according to our data, there is not enough upload speed in your cameras network, e.g. your second camera named "Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks" should have available at least 1.1 mbps upload bandwidth, but only ~400 are available right now.

To lower the quality settings go to Ivideon Server — General Settings — Advanced — Webcams Recording Settings — lower the resolution, bitrate and framerate (for example Mid resolution, 0.5 bitrate and 15 framerate should work).

Answered: When will "add smartphone" be available? Under add cameras it's shown as not yet available.

Dear Julie,

Local view is possible in Ivideon Client for the computers with MacOS, Windows, Linux. To set it up do the following:
1. If Ivideon Server is started, please stop it and enter the tab “Local View” in the Settings of the application. Put a tick on “Local View” and indicate some access password to the local server if you need any.
2. Install Ivideon Client on the same computer or on some other computer in the same local network;
3. Open Ivideon Client (if Ivideon Client is installed on a computer without Internet access, as you start the program choose the option “Local access only”);
4. Add a local videoserver. To do it click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of the application and choose "Add a local videoserver...". In the next window please choose the location of your Ivideon Server (on this computer or on some other computer in this local network). If you choose “Videoserver is in my local network”, you will need to write the local IP-address of the computer where your Ivideon server is installed;
5. Write any name for the server and the password (if it has been stated before, see paragraph 1 of these directions). Press “OK”.
Now you can see the video from your cameras locally.

According to our system, there's "Hounds 2" server without a camera. Please delete this server from your personal account, reset the the camera (press and hold the reset button (located on the back of the camera) until the camera makes the beeping sound) and then please wait until the LED flashes amber. After that please try to connect the camera via moble app once again.
Please let us know the results!

Hello,

In this case you need to write us to support@ivideon.com from your account`s email address and describe the issue (indicate names of the cameras you would like to replace) so we could forward your request to our financial department. Unfortunately you can not just delete the old cameras and connect them again to a present subscription since it will be removed.

Dear Sir,

To add any model of any manufacturer to Ivideon server we need you to send us the correct RSTP/Mjpeg link to support@ivideon.com with a request. After that we will add it in the next versions of the Ivideon server.

Please take into account that If your video Ip camera is not on the list, please contact the device's manufacturer. Tell him that you are planning to connect it to Ivideon Server and that you will need an RTSP/Mjpeg link to the video stream

You could also find the needed link data in the user manual.

The correct RTSP link should open in the VLC player.

When you get the link, you can try to add the Ip camera to Ivideon Server by selecting the "Other Manufacturer" from the manufacturers' list and adding the video stream link to the URL field.

After checking, please send the received links to us and we will add support for your device to Ivideon Server.

Dear User,

We apologize for our prolonged response.

SSD drive should work according to the manufacturer spec and recommendations so there will be no specific recommendations from our side on usage of such device except that we strongly recommend using usual SATA HDDs instead of SSDs due to their small amount of space.

As for recording to NAS and/or external computer such option is not supported. Recording can be done only to an internal HDD.

On the other hand you can export your recordings according to the following instruction and when move the exported clips to anywhere you need:

Dear User,
According to your personal account information there are three cameras attached to it. Could you please specify are they all Foscam 9821 or you use three different cameras? Do you have issues with all three cameras?
Also please indicate, do you use the link from the Ivideon Server app, or have you been provided with the link by the manufacturer?

Dear Jason,

Only the user of the account has a right and opportunity to make the cameras public. Please make sure that you are the only person who knows the email and the password from your account.  For safety reasons please change the password of your account in its settings. To do this, please log into the personal account, click on the My Account tab in the right upper corner and choose Settings. In the left bottom corner you will see the Change Password section where you can substitute your old password with a new one. We highly recommend to invent a strong password. A strong password should consist of no less than 8 signs (digits and letters). Avoid using passwords consisting of nothing but digits or a single simple word.

To disable public access to your cameras, please follow this instruction:
1) Log in to your account and open the camera.
2) Press the button located in the bottom right corner of the video player (it looks like three horizontal stripes).
3) Select Public access.
4) In the line "Public access to the camera" please pull the slider to the Off position.

1) please specify what message appears (what error) after you try to delete the Ivideon Server app?
2) what message (error) appears after you try to open the Ivideon Client app? also please indicate the version of the Ivideon Client app;
3) also please precise whether the Ivideon Server is installed as a service or as an application on your laptop?
4) please specify where you are trying to open the webcam, and whether any message (error) appear when trying to open it;
5) please mind that you can stop getting streaming from the camera via Ivideon Server app: open the Ivideon server app > press "Stop" button.

Please accept our apologies for the prolonged response!
To add a camera with PTZ via Ivideon Server you need to ask the manufacturer both RTSP/MJPEG link to the videostream and the list of PTZ control instructions (commands). When you get the link, please insert the working URL into the URL field and choose the position "Other manufacturer" in the field "Manufacturer".
Press the button of preview, if everything is correct the video from the camera should open.
As for PTZ commands, they should be inserted into the URL field in the PTZ tab. We also will need remote access to the camera (for instance, TeamViewer application installed on the computer with Ivideon Server) to let our developer team debug PTZ work. The time it may take usually depends on availability of our developers.

Our subscription plans are not limited by size, it`s only limited by days . For example 7-day cloud subscription will keep your recording last 7 days ,and it doesn`t matter how many data will be recorded during these 7 days.
